Mountain and Cedar

This project focuses on putting people first when designing residential spaces. The designer carefully plans the layout, function, and flow to meet the needs of the residents. The use of natural materials and simple, elegant lines creates a canvas that showcases the texture and warmth of the space. The result is a residence that is both beautiful and functional, with a welcoming atmosphere.
The design draws inspiration from a green maple tree that grows in the garden. The tree represents the idea of generational succession, which the designer aimed to incorporate into the residential space. The hope is that the house will serve as a place for building memories and creating new life stories for the family.
The designer has incorporated natural elements like stone and wood veneer to create a seamless flow between shared and private living spaces. Reflective and permeable materials like mirrors, glass, and metal add finishing touches that allow for a harmonious interplay between the indoor and outdoor scenes. Natural light blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior, creating an atmosphere that evokes nature.
