The designer and client are indispensable to create same vision of life and a sense of belonging towards the space. Located in Qingpu, Taoyuan, the bamboo house is quiet and convenient. The Zhang designer get rid of the old pattern and adopted American country style as the design direction, embellished with industrial elements. The open public space, with flexible and convertible track lights extends the spa e feeling. The designer cleverly planned a functional space, such as separating the living room from the parent-child area using a long TV cabinet that also blurred the beam above. The overall colors and the gray hexagonal floor tiles, and the hidden cabinet at the entrance make the space peaceful. The designer skillfully uses color in the space. The low-dark tone color of the wooden floor, paired with the colorful paint, is shocking yet harmonious at the same time. The designer implemented Taiwan’s vintage embossed glass to the entrance wall and bedroom door with beautiful brushstrokes. The client has a personal preference towards the selection of furniture, such as bright colored sofas. This farmland reflects that leisure is “where the heart is, where the body is”.
