Contemporary City MOMΛ is located in Western Science City in Bishan District, Chongqing. The "planet exploration" is taken as the core concept of interior architectural design in this case. The design team interprets the beauty of space in a concise design technique. It also keeps the astronaut MOMΛ as the theme character throughout the space, increasing interactions between various zones. In addition, modules of geometric structures are in constant presence to create a rich sense of space hierarchy. This case aims to present a space of calm, tranquil atmosphere. When people move in it, the space and people will become even closer and more interesting. While imagining the future, people could enjoy a unique immersive space experience. For the sake of simplicity, the design team embodies the aesthetic consciousness of contemporary rational aesthetics with rustic materials and multi-dimensional space. It separates the interior space into multiple functional areas to meet and adapt to different use needs, based on the forms of the building blocks.
