Dream Wonderland

A fine space is not only intriguing but inspires endless imagination. Pastel pink, terrazzo, and marble set up the tone for a buzzworthy reception center. The designer draws on her reading experience of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland in hope to build up a healing space conveying simple happiness in the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The façade reads several arched openings with a playful twist, framing the dreamlike interior. The terrazzo wall tiles and toned-down shades bring out dimension to the space. Tens of laser cut slabs compose the counter which dynamic bespeaks the designer’s skillful handling of material. Giving a fresh sensation, the designer drops light resembling clouds from afar and mouthwatering marshmallows up-close. The art pieces nearby stand as if characters coming out of the fairy tale indicating a gripping presence.

The bar and discussion areas on the second floor was inspired by Alice’s tea party with the Mad Hatter and March Hare. Jointed and polished to an arc shape, the marble plate table is especially fashioned by the designer. The macaron style pink bar stools and bubble pendant light lends a delightful ambience to place.
