Shenzhen COFCO Qianhai Smart City Exhibition Hall

The mechanical paddle aircraft with a steam-era shape is transported to this “future deep space” thanks to the design team’s research and manufacture.
With two floor-to-ceiling windows that mix the natural ecological view of Chinese Parasol Island with a sense of the future from Shenzhen Airport, the main hall looks roomy and airy. The dark gray grid ceilings give us the impression of disorder in outer space while also making it easier to conceal complicated pipeline equipment, lights, and other equipment components, which are good for the empty and clean impression of the space.
The landing module prototype serve as the inspiration for the metal coffee table’s design. The ground is cleverly covered with a layer of refracted light and shadow thanks to the background wall’s smart construction.
The designer uses “Science and Technology Field, Flight Innovation, Retro Wave, Oriental Poetry” as the primary design axis, which inspires the designer to play with the ups and downs of the senses and the passage of time while using various lighting effects, in order to create an infinite space full of complex force and fantasy.
