Tranquility, Reflection and Simplicity

This residential design project is a prime example of how mirrors can transform a space into a pure and clean style. The designer aimed to create an environment that would bring purity to the residents' minds, bodies, and spirits through a three-layer treatment. The first layer of this treatment is achieved by creating a sense of silence in the space. This is accomplished by drawing the viewer's attention to the stunning green mountain scenery outside the window. The quietness of the natural world outside quiets down all the senses and this peacefulness is further enhanced by the use of mirrors throughout the space.
The designer has employed a large number of mirrors and different types of glass to maximize the spatial feeling of each corner of the room. This creates a layered feast for the eyes, where every turn reveals a new and visually stunning perspective. The use of mirrors helps to create an illusion of space and depth, making the room feel much larger and more open than it actually is. The result is a space that not only looks beautiful but also feels calming and serene.
